TOW or MG Vet - Ground Defence

Can someone shed some light on this - I got 16 kills in one round with MG and it did not give me the award.

Can somone confirm - does this include the MG mounted on vehicles - i.e. Tanks, Jeeps etc. And Lastly - whilst im waiting for the required number of hours to become Vet say as Sniper - do I have to wait for the time to be completed first before go getting 25 kills? The reason I ask is I got 65 kills IAR and it does nto put a tick against that requirement. Or will it when the time is reached??

I havent got the GD ribbon when i have comleted IAR like 72098745 times.. lame.. award system sux..

mounted mg doesn't count..

u have to have 100+ hrs first.

Veteran Ground Defense is from a "Ground" mounted weapon, ie a TOW or one of them MGs on a wall etc.

Vehicle mounted guns don't count.

mg's on vehicles dont count. it needs to be one of those point defence thingys that are scattered next to flags. i dont think u have to use the same one it can be any of them as far as im aware as long as u get the iar req.

and yes u need to get teh time requirements for badges etc. then ( and i think u have to log out and log back in, or at least wait for the stats servers to register that u have the req. time) get the iar after that.

For vet sniper (and any non IAR time based award) you have to have the appropriate hours, then get the IAR requirements once BFHQ has updated your hours.
