Well this is a game for pure plane whores.No medals but i think it looks pretty nice.
If you like flying in bf2 you need to try this out ! Its more a simulator then a bf2 thingy.

Lock On IS fun...................If you can waste your whole life and only manage to work out how to fire the cannon in the A-10. I have it. Played it for a week and almost died of reading the manual.

Though a very good game none-the-less.

Lomac is a great flight combat simulator, if your going to get it, make sure you get flaming cliffs too. You can get lock on:gold (lomac+flaming cliffs expansion) for like £15. There also releasing a new expansion pack soon called "black shark" its highly realistic.

You can press every button in the cockpit

Look how many buttons you have to press to start it up.

LO:MAC is a great game.. except that it has tons of bugs. Another prob is the very little variety you have in terms of flyable aircraft selection. Some aircraft are glaringly ommitted from the game entirely (the F-15E and the B-2 to name a few).

Incorrect, Microsoft Flight Simulator X is the best simulation for just flying. X-Plane has no soul.

I think the manual is about 15 pages or so, the entire thing is key combinations for controlling different things in the aircraft.

bf2 is best for flying because it lets u kill all the cars/tanks/choppers also, and they all get cut at u when u become untouchable

I have that game bought it for 10€ and it is nice but controls are REALLY difficoult. It has commands like ctrl+num2+l for example, but if you can master theese commands it is a good game.
