The US Office seems like it's trying to be funny. It's basicly a sitcom without the laugh-track.
I'm sure it's a great show, the thing is it shouldn't have any relation to the UK Office. Just make it a completely separate entity and it'll be good.

I find the show hilarious really. I love it. Im peeing my pants with excitement about the new season starting Thursday.........ok not really, but Im ready to see the new episodes. I feel like such a girl wanting to know what happens with Jim and Pam, but I cant help myself. Im rooting for the guy.

Well, the new season kicked off last night. Recap for those of you who missed.

Jim moved to a different office, he has a nick name "Big Tuna" by a guy thats a tool.
Pam didnt go through with the wedding
The whole office knows that Oscar is gay.........obviously because of Michael
In an effort to find out who else is gay in the office, Dwight and Michael want to order "Gay-dar"
Jim mails Dwight a "Gay-dar".....essentially its a metal detector because it picks up Oscars belt buckle........and Dwights.....so Dwight thinks hes possibly gay.
Oh, and Jim tried the put co-workers stuff in jello at his new office......the dude almost went postal.

I can see Jim going back to his original office.

I've seen an episode of The US Office, and i just didn't find it funny. I was resigned to the fact that i probably would'nt like it because i can't think of an American comedy that i like. I'm not comparing The Office to any of these BTW, but I despise the likes of Friends and Will and Grace etc etc. Dont get me wrong you guys make some awesome programmes, such as Lost, which just happens to be my favourite series out at the minute, but for me British comedy is the way (I guess i would say that though).

BTW have any of you guys from the US ever seen "Father Ted"... My favourite comedy EVER!!

Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.

I've only seen the UK version so can't comment on the US one.
