Hey guys,
I remember the times when playing BF2 was about fun and teamwork. But now it seems that everything is about gaining points...
I just was on a full 24/7 Warlord server. SAS didn't capture any flags, but there was a SAS guy (stats) inside a building near Plaza and he killed every MEC-guy there. He couldn't be killed, but it seems a teammate killed him finally. When I asked him why he cheated, he said 'I don't care, it's a game, get a life' and he offended me because my English isn't that good - well yeah, it's not my mother tongue, so I don't care. Try to flame me in German if you have a problem with my English.
I was disappointed by this guy, but he couldn't get into the building after that, because he always got killed. The next round started and I got over it. SAS managed to capture a palace checkpoint so the whoring went on. Then, I saw a guy (stats) throwing a grappling hook at the ground over and over again. It was obviously that he wanted to get into the wall, so I telled him to stop. He didn't, so I teamkilled him. This didn't help, he always tried to, and I always killed him and got banned for teamkilling.
So, you may ask now why I'm writing this? Because I'm disappointed of the community. Why is everybody a point whore? Don't fucking care about stats! If you suck at playing, don't start cheating! Live with it you sissy or get better by playing more. But using cheats / glitches is just so poor. I also started as a noob, but never ever considered cheating. This is a game, meant to be fun, and not meant to collect as many points as possible. Get a life!
(I guess nobody of you cares about it, but it had to be said. Yeah, I feel better now.)

Hmmmm ... something changed?  It seems to me that the majority of players never join squads and only try to gain points ...

I don't think so. If he wanted to do that, why didn't he tell me but rather initiated a kick vote on me? Also, there are much better places in the map to do that than directly where the main action in palace is.

He is going for his expert grappling hook you spaz by throwing it on the ground its just a lame ass way to get badges for nothing on special forces .

TBH i hate cheaters but its not like this guy was hacking to kill somebody he was just throwing his hook to get a piece of online gold .

He called a vote because you teamkilled him simple and also he doesnt want everyone know he is being lame by spamming the hook.

It would be nice if this would be true. I don't know if I'm allowed to post a video, but I know a video which shows how to get into walls by using the grappling hook. And the guy I teamkilled was trying that for sure. So don't blame me for killing a victim. He was a glitcher...

Ive searched for vids of this after you metioned it and guess what i cant find any ,so post it or pm me the link because i really do fail to see how this is possiable .

I still think the guy is spamming for some piece of online gold imho .

i agree....thats y i almost never EVER play strike......i play wake...dalian....and maps thats its hard to point farm on becuase it makes it more fun....open maps are better for fire fights too

I did notice the link i was shown in pm it was prior patch 1,4 so as far as i know its been fixed on Warlord now .

Also Ducksteina dont insult me again in pm or any form if you cant have a disscusion about things without swearing or insulting somebody you lose right away .I should know ive been on the end of bans from here just a lil warning my friend .

lol you are not alone!

Stat padders are a nomadic people by nature. They wander from server to server seeking new ways and new communites to practice their craft of stat inflation. There are still teamwork servers out there.

As to the hacker who said to you "its just a game" lol   if he doesn't like playing games with rules he should go play games with no rules.... oh wait - there is no such thing! he's screwed.

Is it worth getting banned to prevent a guy from cheating on one round?  He'll be doing the saemthing on the enxt round and all you've gained is another kick/ban on your stats.  And frustration - you'll have more when you leave than when you first saw him.

Definitely definitely can get into some walls with grappling hooks. Whether the culprit in question was doing this or not, who knows?

The glitches are out there on various movie sharing sites and the likes, but I'm not gonna encourage people by pointing them out.

Fact is, it's lame. And, to answer the original problem, you need mates to be able to play BF2 properly. Squadding up with regular pubbers is rarely as good.
