First time ever that diesel exceeds benzin in price here, now benzin is 118.40 IKR per liter ($6.31 per gallon) and  diesel is 118.70 IKR ($6.33 per gallon)

Anywhere else in the world where diesel exceeds benzin?

Look here. You really need to get a dictionary, because I do not think the word benzin is in any way English.
You probably mean gas or gasoline. And for the second thing. A liter is not the same as a gallon.
To completely different things. I just used my dictionary to be on the safe side. Hope it is right.

I'm assuming "Benzin" is the same thing as "Gasoline"?

I'm not sure how the two are priced in comparison with each other here in the US, but I will tell you this much:  You're paying twice as much as we are in the states.  I just filled up for $2.98/gallon.

And people here are complaining about high prices.

Well the dictionary is not responding to any of those words. Let us ask an Englishman.

Benzin = German for Petrol (Gas to you yanks)

I just filled my car from just under a quarter of a tank and it cost me £48.77 for almost 50 litres of diesel or in foreign terms;

UK     98.9 pence per litre
EUR  1.35 euro's per litre
AUS $2.25 per litre
US   $1.68 per litre

Or for gallon prices;

UK    £3.75
EUR  E5.11
AUS  $8.51
US    $6.35

When you're paying as much as we do for fuel then complain, but as it is at the minute i'd love to be paying the kind of prices everyone on here seems to be complaining about.

Benzin means petrol indeed...I think most European languages use it except for English.

Exactly. There is a reason why Mercedes Benz is called Mercedes BENZ.

The fact that liters were referenced would indicate we were not discussing American terminology. Havent yall heard of Rammsteins Benzin?  I put two and two together and got 7.  Benzin=gas (of some sort).

If you take me serious, take a look on my stats.^^
Das Benzin nichts mit Carl Benz zu tun hat ist mir klar.
