Nope. I just avoid them...
crawl over them or backwards and hope your teammates don't trigger the clay.  crawling is slow enough that you don't trigger it

If I place a claymore and it goes off when I or my team walks in front of it.. it's exit server.
Same goes for those "NO CLAYMORES" servers, fuck off, if you can't take the heat, go play donkey kong!
I don't cry over a claymore death cause that's just tactical defence, I for example will never run to a TV Tower for flagcapture without 2 medics behind me, think about that next time when you smurf yourself into a claymore.

Claymores are the bugbear of the game,

I dont mind if they are used to protect the sniper or sqaud involved, but when you get people spawning in the palace rooms on warlord and instantly bunnyhopping down the corridor merrily chuking clays then that is so wrong.
They hop in to spawn points and hop out in my book thay is spawn raping.
You run down streets and they are scattered all down the road, what was the sniper doing, lying prone in the street hoping nobody would see him come get real and use them as they should be used.

Our server runs a claymore should be used as a defensive weapon only rule.

Its annoying to see the person with the most points and kills at the end of a round is the same man who bunny hops his way round just constantly spamming clays.

And you tell me that there's no tactics in car bombs they are quite a bright idea if you ask me for one of your teams tickets you could save 10's of tickets to stop the tank from spawn camping which results in your tickets going down further so, GO JIHAD JACK
I'm not talking about car bombs. I'm talking bout the infantry that runs at you, throws a c4 down, and blows you both up.

The car bombs are less annoying mostly because most of the people I've seen using them at least TRY to survive.

When a tank is spawn camping and there's nowhere else to spawn is a completely different story. That's when you use any and all tactics no matter how desperate they may seem.

Spam claymores = Team kills
Team kills because spammer is a spamming noob = Punish
Punish = Kick
Kick = No more spamming.
No more spamming = Complain about somthing else that kills you.

I never tried that nor heard of it working, I doub't it will.  Especially considering I've been blown up for not even moving when a guy drops the claymore on my neck.

It's not just about avoiding them, people spam them anywhere, and how can you avoide when you wanna cap a flag?.  Going around them often is IMPOSSIBLE.

As far as bring a medic, yeah that's all good but hey that sniper STILL GETS THE KILL.  Hence what I think is the main problem with claymores:

It's the set it and forget it, automatic kill.  Ya don't need to be good to throw them around, just know where the enemey needs to be.  If your in a hotzone it's at least a 2-1 k/d ratio gurenteed.

Yes destructable needs to happen.  Any way a player can remove these devices, (even if it means sacraficing a nade or something), without sacraficing thier life and especially without giving the sniper what he/she wants .. a kill.
