first off I'm new here so hey
but i have a problem , most of the time i can connect to most servers - but the one i could never connect to (unless the round had not begun and was waiting for players to join) was my clan server : EA UK [LSF] NO NITE MAPS - 193.238.84.49:16777 .
i recently got a new router - a linksys WAG54GS - which actually allowed me to get onto the server - but i now have a new problem ...... my ping
now, i have a 2mb ADSL connection - often getting low pings, but on my clan server i have lately been getting pings in excess of 500 !! so i get kicked instantly. the thing is though, despite the ping, i don't lag or lag very little.
i have checked I'm the only one using my network, restarted router, restarted comp, updated punkbuster manually, opened the correct ports on my router, tried a full reinstall and repatched FULL to 1.4 .... and im running out of ideas!!!
please, please help me!!!
my specs are as follows :
P4 with HT 3.0 ghz
1.5 gig DDR400 ram
On-board Realtek HD audio sound card
128mb Radeon X300
but, please remember this is just happening with this one server - the rest are fine! i get good pings on full 64 man servers !
