For $279.00 I want some hard numbers first. I could upgrade my sound card for that and take 11-20% off of my CPU.haffeysucks wrote:
Saw this, my clanmates were even talking about it. Seems kind of wack...
It is better to upgrade all other parts before getting this beast, like ram and a sound card, but after that I would get this thing, after I get the money...NewEgg Reviewer wrote:

Pros: I actually won one of these for getting third in a BF2 tournament so Ive had it for about 2 weeks before it was released. Back then it was a bit buggy. Now this thing runs like a dream. Ive noticed the varification in BF2 is almost instantaneus where the used to be the longest part of loading. Ping is STABLE now, it doesnt fluctuate at all while I play any game, which is great for any Euro matches I play from the US. This card is really going to shine once the Linux applications start comming out for it.
Cons: It still has a small lingering problem with bitorrent (and only bitorrent) with LLR on but turn it off and it works fine (or use a different type).
Other Thoughts: Great card, cutting edge stuff here. Keep an eye out for the applications that youll be able to run on the Linux side of the card (firewall, AV, router, torrent, etc).
