No, not with this glitch, but i have seen it on a friends pc and that was resolved as overheating or somethin. But no, all of the models look to be in correct proportion and shape.iNeedUrFace4Soup wrote:
Ever see the glitch where giant, diagonal pillars stick out of the APC wheels and turn with them?

It looks like a cel-shaded version of the game.
You know how you can view models and look at it as flat shaded, smooth shaded, wireframe, and textured? Well it seems like the video card is only viewing models in a shaded mode, and not fully textured. You might need to mess around in the catalyst control center and mess around with settings. I don't have an ati card at the moment so I can't tell you exactly what you might need to do but look around in there, see if you can tweak the performance and/or quality settings. If you don't have the control center on your computer you can download it from http://www.ati.com
There's a good chance this won't help but hopefully it'll give you a starting point to find the proper solution.
edit: control center is at : https://support.ati.com/ics/support/def … tionID=640

If you didn't install anything that might mess with your hardware settings, and you didn't make any changes yourself... looks like your card may have bitten the dust. You'll be glad to upgrade anyways
the sad part is that dell (through having a laptop and their bios) currently does not allow a gfx card upgrade.
I agree. Probably some file got corrupted somehow.Havazn wrote:

Reinstalls are like the duct tape of the computer world.

It's new card time for less than $180 you should be able to get a nice one that will run on high settings if you want.
I can't, i just physically cannot upgrade anything the laptop will not accept any other card except the one i have or a crappier one. Believe me, i have been researching the subject for quite awhile. It sucks much but i cant do anything about it.TrollmeaT wrote:

Sure you can, get a job for a week or two, quit & bam new card time.
Unfortunatly you require a new gfx card and since it is a DELL laptop it will be a little more expensive cause you will need dell components. Thats why you build your own. Its easier to fix.
That is so awesome. Keep it like that.
thers your problem ATI x300 128mb u need at least a x1600 512mb or nvidia 6800GT make shure the card has 4 digets in it then u know its an ok card. well nvm 5700 has 4 digits and it sux so just nvm
I was thinking: looks to me that actual requirements grew bigger through patches. just a feeling of mine?
x300 lmfao... lambert hacker send me a dump of your entire system registry, I wanted those gfx settings!!
