7600, Yes, I have around the same system as you and I put Everything on High, And AA 4x , And get around 90 - 100 FPS.

Thanks, lol the 99 was a mistake.

I can just set AA to x2 I see no major difference.

a 7950 is over kill, believe me, but a 7900GT (not GTX) is currently the best bang for your buck card.

It'll play everything on high, around 40-50 fps if I remember rightly (as you have 2GB of RAM)

bumping notallowed lol, anyways yea a 7600 would let you play on high.  But if you want the best, get a 7900gt/gs or 7950x2

with a resolution of 1024x768 and everything on high including 4x AA I get around 100fps (specs below), so I doubt you can get 100 with a 7600GT, but I know for sure it will let you have high settings and real smooth gameplay.

I have a 6800GS and play everything on high with about 50 fps. Don't waste cash because the fanboys tell you too.

The big question: What resolution do you use?

If you're a noob like rogue_delta (or just have a shitty monitor), then you probably don't need a great card, but if you play in a decent res like 1280x (lcd) or 1600x1200 or higher then you want a higher-end card. Personally, I play in 1600x1200 and I have a 6800GT OC.
