ive done this a few times...shoot at a guy then have to reload...switch to frag and toss it...it hits him and kills him instantly - frag detonates later...lol

usually happens when im above them and duck behind hill toss it in his general direction and reload as i pop up to take a peak and his location...

funny as hell


guessing that i hit them a few times b4 the frag toss and the impact of the frag hitting his head finishes him off...lol

That happened to me in Karkand once. Running up the street from the railway accident an enemy is just over the top of the hill, hits me a with a burst, I go prone.... wounded, but not done (yet). next thing I see is a 'nade flying, hits me in the head, I die. 3 seconds later it explodes.  I couldn't stop laughing!

happend once to me while a recording session for the last BF2movie. he was standing 1m away from me and i was so amazed that i forgot to move away and getting nearly killed by the explosion.
we were laughing a lot about it.

lol yes, I got a TL for hitting a squad member in the head with my smoke once, as usual he punished.

This happend in a custom game for me. It was a water map (Battleships) and i fell into the water. My teammate helped me by tossing a gernade at my face and i died without the gernade ewplodin. Funny.

Another thing that happend to me was i was flyin a MIG and i suddenly die.I did not ht suicide or anything. I just assumed i died of too much G-Forces on my body.

I hate hand grenades, I prefer the grenade laucher over them.  You can't throw grenades far enough, and it is kind of unpredictable where they go.

i through a smokey at a team member once to scare him, he had full health, because we both just spawned, i hit him in the body and he died. i had no idea wat happened, either did he, so we just laughed

Not me, I love hand grenades. As a Sniper, it is a very good way to kill those who have taken cover at a point. For example, on Sharqi Peninsular, the hill base above the construction site always gets MECs attacking it. Of course the first thing they do is hide behind the sandbags and slowly and silently take the point. Meanwhile, myself on the roof as a sharp-eyes Sniper has seen all this, so I decide to throw a grenade at him. The grenade is wedged between the sandbags, so is pretty close to the enemy and always takes him out, thuse sevuring a kill, a flag defend, and a base remaining for your team.

I suppose you could so this with a GL. You'd fire at the wall and the splash damage would injure the enemy, and you'd have to use a second one, (unless you were skilled enough to fire an artillery-like lob.) a hand grenade on the other hand does the job perfectly.

Don't underestimate hand grenades. I have taken out many a n00b-t00ber with them.

It's incredibly hard with tear gas if possible.

I was commanding and chucking teargas around to help build up badge requirements. Then one of my friends come over, I fire around 3-4 shots into his torso and head but no teamdamage messages let a lone a kill.
