Guess its time for my second rant in as many days.

I HATE PUB SERVERS.

Why?

1. No teamplay. I'm sure this has been discussed to death. Teamplay fails in a pub server.
2. Armor whores. Fucking ridiculous. One guy got 50 points in two minutes and HADN'T MOVED. Retards + Whore = Failure of a server.
3. Lag. OMG Lag. I cannot tell you how bad it is. I think just going on a pub server will damage my accuracy. Similarly, my only connection problem issues have happened ON PUB SERVERS.
4. The chatbox is inundated with useless junk and spam, making impossible to tell if someone needs ammo, or a medic, or backup, or ANYTHING. Since no-one uses VOIP, this becomes a problem...

Whilst I admit that the majority of pub servers see no teamwork, I think it's very much up to the individual. I started out as bad as the rest, armour whoring, lone wolfing, being a general n00b, but since being on servers where there have been a few good people making squads, working as a team, and pretty much obliterating the opposition I've started to pick up there habits. My % of kills in vehicles is down to 65% from 83%, we work as a team, we encourage other people to join our squad and work with us.

I think the experienced players need to lead by example, get on the pubbers and teach these "smurfs" the importance of teamwork.

I have ZERO hack accusations. Then, i accidentally stumbled into an American server (ok it's happened 3 times now, I'm not generalising but this is ridiculous)

All three times all i saw was:

"HACKER
FUCK YOU
STOP BASERAPING
FUCKING HACKER"

etc..

Alot of real immature shit, i just disconnected and laughed and now i know how you guys get so much of these accusations, i play on some mature servers and there ain't that many hack accusations at all, i think I've only ever seen like 10 in my whole BF2 playtime when playing in my regular servers. None were at me. I've never even accused someone of hacking, why are you guys so immature?

It's all one big ego fest. Then you realise you're trying to impress imaginary internet people, hell i don't even go all out to impress people in real life, i don't have to fucking impress other people. I have my standards and I'll keep to it

There actually is a hack like this..

You can kill a enemy but he will see you as a teammate.. (i'm not talking about the blue tag bug here)

If he shots at you he will get team damage..

You can kill him and get positive points and then you can revive him to get even more points

Pub servers are the life and soul of Battlefield 2. There's nothing like showing off some class skill to your average joe, getting some easy wins that you don't have to actually work for, and then showing off some nice scores and ratios against your average weekend warrior. Public servers are where players meet, clans converge to arrange scrims, and where kiddies go for their daily whine and shit-talk. What's the problem?

Besides, I don't really understand why you're "fed up" of hack accusations. Your stats are nothing special, let alone anything that should arise hack suspicions.

i fell in lov ewith the M16 few days ago, got banned from a wake server cause i had a 50-15 KD ratio by ground pounding and the admin tryed to switch me 5 times before he banned me for hacking

Thats why i wish i could live in uk.. Best servers are there and more adults. To many damn kids in USA servers. I always have that one squad killing 5 year old who wont stfu.
