I got a xtrememusic sound card, with 5.1 plugged in. X-Fi settings are on game mode. With 5.1 selected.

My problem is I dont know how or if there is a way to get music to come out of all five speakers in winamp.

Well in my Audigy control panel, there's a "Surround Sound" mode for CMSS when I'm in 5.1 channel mode. It clones the sound around to all my speakers.
