Maybe I'm the only one to notice, perhaps the only to care about this, but when I manage to get 20 kills in a row for any kit, I feel as if I've accomplished something. That is, until now. I've played as Medic before, received 47 kills and 141 score on Mashtuur, all in one round, all by one kit, as SL. Now apparently those kills, all in one round and all done on ONE kit, Medic, don't count anymore.

I've finally accomplished the weary feat of 15 hours for medic vet kit, and I expected that the 47 kills I'd done earlier - with much difficulty - would all count, because they were all done in a single round, under one kit. Lo and behold, I discover that those 47 kills are null and void simply because I did them all IAR before I had 15 goddamn hours playing the kit.

This really pisses me off to no end. Why the hell does the IAR accomplishment sit at the top of the requirement list, yet it doesn't count jack shit you do IAR until AFTER you've gotten 15 hours of play (or 100 hours for Expert, which apparently I won't receive either, simply because I managed 47 kills BEFORE i got 100h playing the kit).

What the hell is this joke, I say? Another bug? A flaw in the kit counts? And why haven't I heard anyone else say anything about it?

Does anyone know for sure if you need to accomplish 15 hours of play time for any kit before the IAR kills, heals, repairs, and ammo resupplies will actually be counted? And if so, why are the IAR bulletpoints marked as the first requirements, instead of the last?

The global requirements for every award must be met before any IAR requirements. Simple fact of BF2.

agreed that it sucks - I'd expect that it'd remember something like that, and not make you wonder around for 15 hours before it decides to keep track...

Voodoo - if that's a fact, then what the hell are the 'Global' requirements SECOND or THIRD on all lists? Why hasn't BF2S explained this?

ADDED: As a matter of fact, this makes no sense at all to me. I managed 134 on Wake as Support, with 34 kills, and as soon as I finished the 15 hours, it counted the 20 kills IAR, and I'd finished the 15 hours after getting the 34 kills IAR the previous day. Why would THIS count, but not my Medic Combat?

I feel for ya man.  I agree that there shouldn't be a need for a specific order.  If you meet one of the requirements for a badge/ribbon, then it should be logged for when the other requirements are met.  I think it's absolute BS that you have to meet global requirements before IAR requirements; especially since the global requirements tend to just be a certain amount of time.

Thats just how it was listed... and for the last 6 months it hasn't been a big enough issue with anyone to bring it up.

If you want it changed then go make a request in the 'bf2s.com > feature request' forum and perhaps Chuy will agree.

Thanks Voodoo. No hostility intended - this just caught me off guard.
