Hello, I have had BF2 for a long time now with no problems, and just today, when I went to play the game, it prompted me to install it. So I hit install, and the Install Shield Wizard came up for a second, then crashed. This doesn't happen with any other CD or game, I even borrowed A FRIENDS BF2 disc and tried, but it still crashes when trying to install it!
Check ur registry for anything bf2ish, and check EA's help site, they got this problem covered.
Should I delete bf2 from my registry?

I tried that link and the stuff in it, even tried manually installing it, still crashes at the install shield screen
I went into the registry and deleted all BF2 content, seemed to solve the issue, thanks!
