K, well here's the story. I come home from school and notice by little bros all quiet and not playing his usual
round of Halo2 after school, but instead he's killed the batteries on my airsoft gun. So i'm like wtf, but get
over it. Then he starts cryin that xbox isn't working. I've had this problem before, TWICE it was severe. So I
check the wiring, and hit the power button. First thing I start hearing is a repetative grinding/screeching from
inside. Keep listening for 15 seconds then i get a message on the TV that says: "Your Xbox requires
service.." and so on. Now i'm fucking pissed off, not at my little bro but at microsoft. Give you a little history
here, I purchased my first xbox a month after release, it was good for a year and it also crapped out. Still
under warranty, i shipped it to em for repairs, and then when returning it they LOST IT. After I bitched a bit
along with my dad, they agreed to give us the money for a new one, and also a free game, (this took 6
MONTHS) Now 2 years later this one craps out. Since it's no longer under warranty, i give it a good kick, and
drop it 2 feet. And as i'm typin here i hit the power button and it fuckin starts up. Fuckin amazing, saved me
$200. So basically this thread is pointless, but for those who have experienced a similiar problem, give it a
kick/drop and it might just be alright.
