Guys... does the concept also work on getting the amour ribbon and heli ribbon if you are a commander sitting in a tank or transport heli and raining arty on the enemy?

Stupid question i know, but curious.... and yes i dont have either badges
yes it works, you can near earn all badges/ribbons  in comanderposition with artillery strikes

The way I got mine was to be a commander and just sat in one of the carrier mounted AA stations which are much better because your primary weapon is a gatling gun and the secondary is a heat-seaking missile launcher but the one on this is loaded with 8 missiles instead of only 2 so besides the fact that it's a larger target, it is in all ways better.  Anyway, I was a U.S. commander on the map Wake Island 2007 so I just sat in one of those calling in supply drops, artillery strikes, etc and just shooting at whatever came my way and I eventually got it without even trying.

i didnt worry about reading all of your repsonses....so if you said the same thing im sorry.....easiest way to get it is to sit in an AA and be commander and just kill 11 people via arty. done deal!

I tried the suggestion of getting in a mobile AA in Kubra last night and got the ribbon. I never thought to experience sooo much fun with the mobile AA. Honestly though, I think i was prettry lucky to see so many USMC on foot and in transport to get 11 kills. Anyways, thanks a bunch guys!

Also I have to admit that I was a bit of a mobile AA whore to rack up the 11 kills in the first attempt. Shamful isn't it?

got my AA ribbon last night on 64 player ghost town (spteznaz)

was an engi, got into the AA vehicle and proceeded to mow down SAS running around the first 2 flags.
also got the basic and vet engi badges at the same time too!!! plus the gold medal for that round (score of 66)
that was rockin'!!!
