I just bought SF 2 days ago. Finally got some time to play it, so I installed it, then went to join a server and sometimes I get this error that says no server selected after i have already clicked join game then boots me out to the server list page... Also it says please revert to original version yada yada yada, its weird I can play BF2 with no problems even join a BF2 game from the SF pack, but I cant join any SF servers whats going on both are updated to 1.1.2554-356.0 isnt that the latest patch?

DId you actually apply the newest patch AFTER you installed SF? Go EA's BF site and download it. When you installed SF, it applies a patch but it isn't current. When I installed mine, I happened to see the "applying patch" message.
If you didn't apply the patch after the install, there's your problem.
