For the M16 I'll use the irons if I am trying to single shot a guy in the distance. If I stumble on a guy around the corner, it's a quick burst-burst-burst. If I can't hit him in that time I deserve it die.
For the AK it is rare for me to use the iron sights. Again I'll use them at long range, but the AK is best used at close range, hammering bullets into the enemies backs .
Mcminty.
I use the iron sights anytime I have the time to. So mostly for medium to long distance.
Always. My first rule of BF2 is to always use the Iron Sights, unless the guy your trying to kill is within like, touching distance or strafing.
I am a medic whore bitch that uses the L85A1 so nope
A skilled player also uses the cross hairs whenever they will effectively kill the target faster. And I have found that sometimes this is in close range too.LostFate wrote:
Theres just as much long range fighting in karkand as there is in wake, as i play both often, a skilled player doesn't need to use cross hairs unless the enemy is almost out of view distance.
It all depends on the range of your target...
Of course I do

it all depends on the weapon and the range.
yes. yes i do. i use them on every gun (even those with scopes, duh) auctually since it's increases your accuracy.
You're an idiot. A skilled player knows Iron sights makes the gun more accurate, with less deviation. If you don't use it for longer shots you fall into the category of "Random". Aka Noob with luck.LostFate wrote:

cus u sure do alot of jump, crouch, prone shit there....not that its really a bad thing because infantry combat was hell of alot better when you could do that shit alot easier

YES

Yep, on the M16 at long range, cos i use burst fire, and on the AK101, which is all quite accurate as well when double tapping at range.

I pretty much never use the iron sights and I have an assault rifle accuracy of 26% and I don't whore any maps, so go figure.DrunkFace wrote:
