I have bought new stuff, and I'm putting it together... and I got a new motherboard. Can I use my old hard drive without reformatting?

Not likely.

Only case where it MAY work is if you purchased a new motherboard that uses the exact same chipset as your current one.  You will FOREVER have Driver and device Hiccups, crashes, and problems.

Not for your windows drive (you will need to re-format that one) but you can add it as a secondary drive without a reformat......

You get the format option during the windows install.....just follow the prompts.

yes, during install, delete the old partition and then create a new one.
