Just to end this nonsense once and for all. Your stats will NOT be wiped! DICE is NOT terminating their relationship with Gamespy - your stats WILL still be there.

I asked our server guy at TV2 and they - with some other communities - got this message from Martin Livesey, DICE Canada :

Denouncement: this is utter crap. Yes it was too stupid to be true. The 1.4 build is the same as all of the other builds. Login is still there, you have to rank up to gain unlocks. Gamespy is providing the back end for 2142 as well so I don't see our agreement with them ending any time soon either.

yeah. These "stat wipe" threads are becoming like those people who try and predict the end of the world, the deadline rolls around and they just go "well, itll happen next month." People were saying stats were gone when 1.4 came out. 1.4 came out, stats are still there. I hope this thread helps to end the spam. Sticky request.
