Happens to me alot, whether my team loses or not i seem to be near the top, I think 13% of the time ill walk away with the gold and 30% of the time i medal. I attribute it to doing my darndest to to win for my team by utilizing what ever resources are around me. I am partial to the choppers but ill use anything, I am not bad as infantry either. The people that rack up major points have a battlefield awareness about them. Ill give an example - say you see an enemy jeep go zipping past you more than likely goign to a flag that you jsut came from and on your mini map you see you have no friendly's there. You make a U-turn and find him trying to cap the flag, your able to kill him in flag cap range netting 3 points instead of the usual 2 for a kill. Your best bet for racking up points is defending and capping flags plain and simple. heck capping an enemy flag is worth 4 points and assisting is 2, and say you kill 2 or 3 enemies in the process, thats a nice point spree in a just a few seconds. Thing that gets me is some people get it in their head the fastest way to get points is to statpad or vehicle whore, in some cases yes, but more often than not, playing the game as its meant to be played racks up points faster than you can imagine.

Being medic seems to be the only way to rack up major points without stepping in a veichle. eg. Take a flag, kill an enemy and revive 2 dead team-mates who have come with you = 4+4+2=10 just for that. Being medic on Oman normally works best defending a flag, and running around reviving your team-mates.
I got gold using just a knife and a medic bag. What the hell was everyone else doing?

So that's why he plays karkand all the time... doesn't like variety much.
I don't like the term 'medic whore'. Unlike Veichle whores, medic whore's aim is to actually help people. Yeah, so maby I revive people who die seconds later, but I am giving them a fighting chance and I just love it when there is another good medic on the team.Kniero wrote:

They are so essential that the round can be won or lost by the effectiveness of the medics.
On the idea of what the hell was my team doing, the team I was on had a highest score of 10 whilst the opposing team had a highest of 58.
