I turned 17 yesterday it wasn't that different felt a littler older but thats it. Last month i smoked my last cigarette. My brand of choice was Newports, i really did love the menthols. i started smoking when i was 14 i believe. While i know that may not seem like not a long time it is for me. On top of the nicotine i have an addictive personality so it doesn't take much for me to get hooked. My plan so far is cold turkey, the only thing i can think about right now is smoking, constantly all i want to do is smoke right now i feel like i would do any thing for a square like it would make anything wrong at the moment go away and become better. My cough is constantly getting worse. So to all of those people that are 12-14, do not smoke its a wonderful thing but its like a virtual suicide, it almost impossible to quit and u feel like shit when you try. Any one else have problems like me?
smoking kills ppl plz STOP
I'm battling a long time tobacco addiction.
I chew, and its like shooting up pure nicoteen into your blood!
I started taking zyban about a week ago and...the drive died. Now its just a stupid routine I'm trying to break.
The patch didn't work, it just irritaded my skin.
It will always be a problem because until its outlawed its always in your face when you go in a store. Never think you can reward yourself with "just one" It takes a long time to get over it and one afternoon to be fully hooked again.
btw, my 58 year old step father and business partner has just been diagnosed with lung cancer. I'll be lucky if he's here in a year.
He smoked forever and always said something like " fuck it, I don't give a shit, whats life about anyway?"
You should have seen the look of terror in his eyes when he lost his voice three weeks ago. Now, he knows he's gonna die and would do ANYTHING to go back in time and erase all the smokes.
