Ok i've been thinking about this idea for the past few weeks, tell me what you think.

Wouldn't it be useful if you could change kits when you're next to a supply drop?  It'd come useful in the following situations:

-  you're the commander, a bunch of sf have just destroyed your assets.  What do you do?  If you spawn as engineer, you'll die.  if you spawn as assault, you'll kill them, then won't be able to repair your assets.  Solution? Supply drop kit change.

- You're defending a base that you've just captured, and you know that the enemy's going to come at you with two tanks, two apc's and 4 choppers.  Get a supply drop, change to engineer, lay the mines, go back to the supply drop, change to Anti-tank and shoot them from a distance.

Of course you could think of quite a few situations that this would be great in, and probably even more situations that it'd f**k the game up.  Just thought i'd post my thoughts and see what other people think.

Sure!  Let's have a 1-man army who can switch kits at will.  That would be fantastic, because then THE WHOLE PROCESS OF PICKING UP OTHER PEOPLE'S KITS AND BEING ABLE TO SELECT YOUR KIT FROM THE LIMBO SCREEN WOULD BECOME USELESS!

Yep - in another thread. . .

It was a stupid idea the first time.

Here is another stupid idea (from another thread):
Temp. invulnerablity at spawn points - imagine how hard it would be to cap a flag!

There are other games in which this is possible (i think it was Joint Operations) and why shouldn´t it work. You dont become a one man army just because you can change your kit...
