Im planning my next build and I wanna use the C2E cpu. Maybe 2 7900 GTXs' in SLI. Should I wait for after the first of the year? I want to be sure that the components I use are gonna be relatively future proof, say, the next 2 years. My A8N-SLI rig still kicks ass, but you know how it is. Gotta be faster. Just not sure if I should wait a lil more. Thx for ur opinions. Rowdee
you shouldnt bother with dual 7800GTXs
DX10 cards are coming out next year, so spending 400++ dollars on a card thatll only last a few monthes would be pointless, 7600GT is the best bang for you buck, and will hold you over until DX10

id say get a 7900gs or 7600 and go for the DX10 cards. Who knows the first dx10 cards could be crappy like the first Dx9 or 8 cards before.
yeah, i'd never recommend being 1st (or active testing or paying for r/d). People act like Christ is coming with the release of dx10.

Lol no, im saying it because when DX10 comes out, DX9 cards wont be able to run the new "DX10" games in all the shiny new graphics engine goodness. Why waste 600$ when in a few monthes, you could get GEforce 8800s

Add me on Origin for Battlefield 4 fun: DesKmal
I'm gonna get a good but not too expensive card and them buy some 500€ Nvidia card from the G80 series.
Not gonna buy one of the first releases though.
