I was just looking at a post and some guy (raf24) is a staff sargent with 8 unlock guns. I am a gunnery sargent and only have 5. Is there a secret to unlocking guns? Without cheating of coarse. An how long do I have to wait to unlock last sniper rifle. I thought when I made gunnery sargent it might be a choice but is would not let me(was not offered). Thanks for any input.

Yep, Special Forces add on

Your probably missing BF2 Special Forces which gives you more unlocks. Have a friend that has SF play on your account for about 5-10 min. (enough to be ranked) and it should give you the other unlocks when you are eligible.
What about the last sniper rifle? How long does it take? Will I get it my next rank ? If not how many more? Thanks guys for all your help.
you need to play 1 round of special forces, have that save, wait for an update, then viola, u get ur unlocks. If you really don't wanna buy SF, get a friend or someone u trust to login, play a round of camping or something and get a good score, and you'll get ur unlocks.

What do you mean by "Last sniper rifle'? The M-95? With BF2 only you can unlock a gun in any class at the time you earn an unlock. But if you're talking about the other sniper rifle, its un-availble to you unless you pick up SF, at which time you'll get a few unlocks, which you can use to get the L96A1... which I guess is the "last sniper rifle"
