how can someone go about changing my password and email?
Have you ever used that password on any web site accounts - especially a BF2 related clan sites? If so, do you use the same password as you do for BF2? Most/all CMS sites do not store your password in plain text - instead they store it encrypted (usually MD5).
However, there are two ways a site operator could get your password.
1) Change the code to store your password unencrypted. This would be very easy to do. Once that is done, anyone who signes up for an account is giving the operator their information and password. The operator could then try using the email/username and passwrod at vairious sites such as PayPal, Ebay, etc.
2) Even though MD5 is technically unencryptable, if the password is a common word or phrase, there are dictionary cracks that exists. So, again the operator *could* have your password.
If you have never used that password anywhere else and it is not a "simple" password then you may have a key-logger. Good luck.
