I havnt played battlefield2 since summer started (well i played a little at howies*, and one to try jalaallalalalalbabhalhdfhhdbad out) and im finding that battlefield 2 sucks!, I occasionally play POE2 (much more fun) but it seems that im stuck playing Iceworld_arena on CS source now. whats better than good graphics, fast rounds, and being able to control alt delete so you can close your box, talk to your girlfriend, and then pop it back up! Im freaking addicted to CS

Who else is playing CS more these days¿

infact im typing this as CS is running right now, no lag

Yep, and alot of us here have come together and now run our own server.  It's zombie mod but we occasionally go pub normal CS servers.  Join 8.3.6.62:27015 when you get a chance.

Is EVERYONE on these forums pubbing Source nubbies? Does no one else realize that you can snipe with a Mac10 in Source from across the map? You can't even do that in fucking real life. SOURCE WILL DIE IN LEAGUES. The M4A1s/AK47s/MP5s, etc, will all cost $16000 since that's all pubbers buy, then awps will cost like $100 since all pubbers think it's a nub gun. FIRST ROUND IN A SCRIM IN DUST 2 AND YOU WILL HAVE A TEAM OF AWPERS PICKING MID!

I love Zombie Mod. There it's not necesarily about aiming and gettng shots off, it's emptying clip after clip into an ever increasing mass of Zombies. Nothing like it.
Finding I only play BF2 now when my mate comes over and wants to play. Unfortunatly 1.4 has brought with it extreme lag for me. No idea why, but since I don't really play that much any more it dosn't really concern me at the moment.

You need a fucking life and you need it fast I'm afraid.  I've played both at this point and from what I can see it's like comparing BF1942 to BF2.  You suck at Source and you hate it, so you think everyone else should hate it too.  Well, they don't, so get over it.

I have a life, but that has nothing to do with 2.0.

I've had a 2.0 server, after like 10 scrims I gave up on the game, since not 1 team could beat my 1.6 line up in Source. The game is too fucking easy. I can't believe I bought the Hi-Def server for 2.0 for a month, I could of put it towards my current 1.6.

Yes, 1.6 sucks, that's why it's still the most popular FPS on the PC, is played most in leagues, and still has the most LAN tournaments about it. My Ventrilo also sucks dick, that's why teams ask me to give them whole subchannels with sub-admins, and people use it daily for whatever games they play, doing homework, ESEAing, etc.

I would never call it a new version of a game. It's a stupid game. It should just be called "Source" instead of "Counter-Strike Source or 2.0" since the CS part basically tarnishes the name of CS1.6.
