This has to be the best shooter around, the team play is brilliant I like it so much I even painted my racecars in BF2 colours. Now I just have to work out where the .50's will go........

Yea I kno, there's a metallic layer in the car template that does that to the colours. In the actual game it isnt pink thankfully BTW that truck is from a mod for Nascar Season 2003, CTS mod by PWF. Lots of fun to drive and there is at least 200 road courses for those who like to turn right to

Well, for me it's above par because of it's solely online play, as well as the vast amount of things to do. I'll compare it to CoD2, another new favorite of mine.
BF2
Gameplay- Squad and Team based, whose teamwork-based gameplay is the best there is (Usually...)
Sound- Good sound, but not in-your-face sound. Artillery is excellent (before you ask, I have it set on high.)
Things to do- 7 kits, air (a huge plus), ground, and sea vehicles... what more could you want? (Submarines.)
CoD2
Gameplay- Fantastic single player, where the AI is very intelligent and tough, online... the game goes SO fast
Sound- THE BEST! Every shot, every scream, every bullet whizzing by you really sucks you into the game.
Things to do- A few different weapons on ground. An infantry-lovers dream, but there just isn't that much to do...
So as you can see, they both have good points and bad points. If you combined the two, and had fantastic sound, as well as graphical intensity and squad play, and a vast array of vehicles to pilot, the game would be the best there is.
DICE/Infinity Ward, I'm looking forward to a joint effort to make the pwnnest game ever...

I've heard the Xbox 360 is a super buggy innefficient piece of crap and many have already been recalled... but it s a microsoft product, so that can't be true can it... hehe

wow, b4 i start, let me say one thing, i like bf2, i play it a good 5 hours a week, and i dont think theres anything wrong with it (expect of course the bugs ^_^)...
that being said... im shocked that anyone would truelly think this is the best fps... personally i beleive for a fps to even be great it needs both a great sp and a great mp (and as far as pc fps go, needs a good mod community) bf2 sadly only has on game play... bf series has had only one game play, every mod thats ever come out, from galatic conquest to desert combat has been the same game play. therefore, bf2 = a good game, but only a medeocer fps
