I'm fed up of people saying the above. They're all Karkand whores who think the SRAW is a guided sniper bullet and that the tank in anti tank is a joke. I'd like to see them shoot a tank driver whos just bailed, 50m+ away with a DAO.

So all you who think the DAO rules, try killing tanks on a map other than Karkand/Sharqi before you open your mouth.

Up close the DAO does own. I've only recently unlocked the P90 and haven't had a chance to use it just yet, so I can't really comment on its effectiveness. However, as some one who plays a great deal of AT, I am more than familiar with how bad the DAO is at distance...which is where your pistol is your only chance.

Huh? The MP7 is for Engineers, the P90 for AT. How can one replace another?

To answer your question: I have not noticed anything like this. On the other hand I have not used the P90 too much yet as I recently unlocked it and didn't play AT very much since then.

P90 pwns. I just unlocked it today, and it's excellent. It seems much more accurate than the other SMG's, even in full auto. Plus, it has a very large clip and a red dot sight, which I normally don't care about, but it works very well with the P90.

MP5 rules. And your right, AT is harder on big open maps. Its harder to hide from the tank when youve got one rock to hide behind, rather than a bunch of different allys and streets.

Yeah, sorry, I meant that I've been doing the engineer thing to death lately (only 57 repairs to go for Meritorious Service Medal YAY!) but when I get the P90 I'll go AT more often. When I'm engineer I prefer the MP-7 to the shot guns; if I'm close enough to the enemy to use a shotgun I'm usually already dead. I think the P90 will suit my style of play better than the DAO.

The recoil on the DAO sucks. The damn thing rides up so quickly. I think at close range the DAO has it on the P90, but in any other circumstance the accuracy and high rounds per minute on the P90 > DAO 12.

The MP5 is fine, but the equivalents for the other armies really suck. I mean the MEC base AT weapon sounds like a freaking pea shooter

maybe since i've played DoD so much it seems like nothing to me. You should check out the recoil on the BAR in that game if you think the DAO is bad.

yea no shit.. DoD was/and is the shit deff takes some skill to master the recoil... the bar was bad but try the mgs undeployed... lol i used to love running around ramboing it out

both are nice.. i think you are supposed to pick different weapons for different situations.. i mean why restrict yourself?? if youre spawning in an area of the map with lots of enemy or close quarters then pick the dao.. other wise the mp5 or p90 rocks your socks

if you are a good shot, you will drop them 2x as fast with a pistol then a p90 at 50m. I got quite good at it back when there was no p90.

Really? How come with the P90, I have killed people with DAO up close and with pistol at long range? Maybe if you learned how to use it instead of going for the newb DAO. It definately shouldn't be an Anti-Tank unlock, I never use the thing, it's awful.
