My ingame works when I am in game.
No problems.

I find it very usefull when a commander is using voice to communicate with everyone.

But when I am commander, my push to talk, doesnt work.
Even when I am on the same server, voice works fine as a player but not when as Commander.

Is there a different setup option to use voice as Commander.?

There's two buttons for VOIP.

V for inter-squad communication. B for squad leader to commander or vice versa.

Press B to communicate to squad leaders as a commander.

Almost correct there USAdude... you have it backwards. 

To talk to a commander as a Squad Leader it is 'V'.  Same goes to talk to Squad Leaders as a Commander (V). 

Inter Squad Communication is B.

Okay, noob question, when you are commander and you press V to talk to a squad, does it only go to the squad you currently have selected in the command screen or to all squad leaders?

I hope it does, otherwise it would be really annoying for other squads
