To get Advertisiers...... Depends on what you want from your advertisers.. CLick through Ads anyone can do... They dont count in my book. Just annoying. To get someone to PAY you to advertise... Your gonna need probobly 10k hits a day Minimum. TO make money, 50k, TO get rich.. A Million (GOogle, Yahoo, AOL...)
I think with google each hit is like 5 cents
I used to have like 100k a month. I could get about $50-$300 (prices went down after the .com bubble burst) for my advertising space. Now I get like 10k hits pr month (can't be arsed to update my page, I do work for a living), and I dont advertise anymore... OTOH, I only pay like $2 pr month for the hosting, so I dont really NEED to advertise to pay the bills (used to pay like $40 pr month)

If you're talking about crack, each hit COSTS you about $40
