I'm confused right now... why do the sniper crosshairs go red sometimes? It's somewhat annoying, but only somewhat. I did a search and I couldn't find it, maybe I'm using the wrong keywords.

Snipers have zip lines. I'd have to say zip lines, as far as I've seen, let you get to great places no one would expect you. And it allows you to surf around on rooftops with ease. It's fun... and really doubles the advantage of having higher ground.
The red sights are not for night battles. the Seals m24 has black sights and the SAS m24 has red sights. they function the same just minor different between armies.
I keep hearing everyone complain about the sniper not having the grapple. Well both have their advantages but since you can get to almost any point by either grapple or zipline it usually doesn't present a problem. it usualyl just a matter of time. (with grapple you just slow progress up. with zipline just find a higher point.)

Somehow... everything about the SF SAS is gay... they... look gay, the have gay scope crosshairs and worst thing: THEY TALK SO GAY I HAVE TO GO TO THE OTHER TEAM ALL THE TIME! (No to offend someone who speaks like the SAS in the game)Blankwindow wrote:

I would prefer the grapling hook any day. A few times I have managed to get GREAT locations by killing an assult or AT, taking thier kit grapling, swaping back, and climbing.TigrisJK wrote:

For example some of the hotell balconys. Sure you can Zip line thier, if you get on higher ground near one, but not to high. As the oping is only about as big as a person. Thus to high an angle and you will hit the balcony wall and fall quite painfully. Also, you have to aim well, for aim to high and you will miss the opening to the balcony, hit the wall and fall. hit to low, and well basicly you get the idea, gravity and pain.
I thought they were red so that you could see them with the way NV works in BF2SF. Nothing to do with real life, just there so it works.
Still, i wouldn't want them " Looking " for me.Vintageologist wrote:
