I left out T.N.T., Powerage, Flick of the Switch, Fly on the Wall, '74 Jailbreak, and Blow Up Your Video. Live isn't a studio album. For me it has to be Back in Black, the first album with Brian Johnson as singer after Bon Scott death in 1980. I also like a lot the soundtrack of Maximum Overdrive a.k.a. Who Made Who. So, which one is the best?

same.
Hard to pick a best one, they all rock but in the end I went for Back in Black too. You shook me all night long was the deciding factor, love that song.
AC/DC FTW
AC/DC FTW
anyone who said back in black (save thread starter ) doesnt know anything about the band.... yea it was great to see the group persue even after the death of bon scott, their singer, but it is definetly not their best album. unfortunatly, that is the only album non-fans recognize, and that is sad. there are so many better albums out there. My vote is For High Voltage
well, i can tell that AC/DC is not on my favorites, nor is it good.
maybe if they had a greatest hits album. but of course those australians are too stupid to release one.
joke there. dont' take it seriously

take the words away and they all kind of sound the same to me, so that makes the earlist album the best which i think is highway.

Fester - Fail - I've followed AC/DC for over 20 years dude and seen them live a number of times. Just 'coz you don't like Back in Black doesn't mean no-one else does ignoramus.

I'm a sucker for Highway to Hell. I just love that song. Back in Black is good too - the All Blacks always use it - but I love the HtH riff. It kicks arse.

You forgot the option "NONE".
I'm huge fan, I have all AC/DC albums and I like 'em all, but I vote for Back in Black, Who Made Who and The Razor's Edge in this order.FesterTheMolester wrote:

Despite what others have said, when I think of AC/DC, Back in Black really is the album I see, and hear as well.

Since they have so many albums and they are all good, if you don't like the band don“t vote then.Volatile_Squirrel wrote:

You have to think about Bon Scott dying in february of 1980 and the album was recorded in 3 months with Brian Johnson as singer and released in july. That's fast m8, and they did it great.BigmacK wrote:

The bands of these days take 4 years to record a piece of shit.
I prefer most of the older albums to the newer ones personally, specifically High Voltage; many an evening terrorising the neighbours with that album... IMO Fly on the Wall and Flick of the Switch are absolute cack (Sink the Pink and Shake Your Foundations aside)... The live albums (i know n/a for this poll) they put out were class, but that is because they surely have to be one of the best live acts of all time...
When I think of AC/DC...
..I try harder not to.
..I try harder not to.
I need around tree fiddy.
I saw them live and they kick asses.jimbo666 wrote:

I vote Back in Black , Just because '74 Jailbreak wasn't posted that was a great album.
Yeah they are quality... I have seen them a fair few times, everytime a proper good ol' rock'n'roll concert! I remember seeing them in the late eighties at Wembley Arena, i think about the time Blow Up Your Video was released, and again at the arena in 96, the day we beat Spain on pens in the Euro 96 Championships... Now that was a great day out!!!sergeriver wrote:

Highway to hell, because it says it all. Great songs, great shock. Bon Scott rules and Angus at its best.
But I think that they are more a "live group" than "studio group", so I think you should have included the live albums.

If I would have included live albums right now they would be bitching at me.dead_rac00n wrote:
