I'm trying to play BF2 but when i login in ,all i get is "the server has refused the connection".Same with SF.I was just playing last night and everything worked fine.

Actually, I had that problem last night attemping to log on to Vanilla, but with a functioning internet connection (I checked) it just displayed the "Connecting to Account Server" Screen and never loaded the BF2 homepage or anything.

Did the same to me. I defragged and it worked after that. I doubt that that acctually did anything. Can't really pin the root cause. It didn't work, then it did. Weird.ViCT0RI0US wrote:

Happens to me once in a while also. I just reboot the router and PC, and everything is peachy again.
I thought i'd use this old post from awhile back.

I had that problem and found out it was my firewall. Try shutting it down to play, just dont forget to turn it back on!
