Does anyone know how to set the IO mode for a server?

Where it says no vehicles it should have a "1" instead of a "0".

Looking through serversettings.con, I am not seeing anything that lends itself to being changed.

It has to be set up through the ADMIN part of the server "R_CON" or however else the ADMINS control the game. I don't think there is any other way to do so.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks, I am the admin of a couple of servers and have yet to find a setting that can be changed to set the server in IO mode. I am hoping that someone here knows which if any setting needs to either be added or changed.

We use BF2cc for R_CON.

Under the SETTINGS look for the Infantry only box and CHECK. And then APPLY and SAVE changes. Should work for you.

Thanks again Niv. See, that's just the thing, I use BF2cc 1.4 for R-Con as well and have searched for just such a box and haven't found it. It makes me think that there is a line missing in my serversettings.con that would apply to making the change.

If possible and if you have access, could you check for an sv.NoVehicles or sv.InfantryOnly type line and post it so I have an exact reference?

I am not sure where to look for what you are talking about as far as

sv.NoVehicles or sv.InfantryOnly type line

Where would I find such a thing?

Another way besides BF2cc to change your server's configuration is to manually change the serversettings.con file located on your rented private server. Access to this file is usually gained by FTPing into your site. This, I believe is what the BF2cc software does through a GUI interface. Below is an example of the default serversettings.con file that came with my server. As you can see, many of the settings that you are changing via BF2cc are there.

As I have no line in there I can change nor do I see a place to do so in BF2cc leads me to believe that a line may be missing.
