I finished installing the demo and have tried to log in using my 2142 name, but it doesn't work. I don't want to mess anything up with my EA acount name, so I thought I would ask for help here since I don't really understand what name they are really asking for (is it my EA Support username or my BF2142 name?). If they want your EA Support username, then how do you add spaces (my username has a space and BF2142 demo doesn't allow spaces). As you can tell, I'm confused...HELP!

- Demo Login Help (don't want to to mess up my 2142 character)
EA customer support. Laugh Out Loud!! The only time that help was when it told me that to play SF I needed to reinstall the 1.22 patch.
Well, I found out that they are wanting your EA Support account name, EA Support account name that I used has a space in it ( My EA Support name is Daniel Malloy24, since Daniel_Malloy, DanielMalloy, and Daniel Malloy was taken and I wanted it to be easy to remember what login I had and for what game it is for). Does anyone else have the same problem? I figured I would post here while I wait a few weeks (ok, mabye a few days) for EA to get back to me.
i used my ea downloader name it worked.
For some reason, I have 2 EA Support names ("Daniel Malloy24" and "jastermereel24"). the EA support name "jastermereel24" works, but not my "Daniel Malloy24" name since it has a space, that is my problem. I use the "Daniel Malloy24" one since I don't even remember signing up with the other one. What sucks though is that I reserved my 2142 character name through "Daniel Malloy24". If anyone has a solution for this, please post it since it will take EA a couple of days to respond to me and I really want to play the demo.
Does anyone understand this EA response? I have tried to understand how he got that from my question, but I must be dumb or something...
"Greetings,
Thank you for writing to EA.com account services.
Please remove space between the account name next time when you log in. As, EA Down loader doesn't recognize space/gap between the account names. If you have any further questions feel free to respond to this email for assistance.
Thank you.

Here is my question I sent them...
"As you can probably tell, my account name is "Daniel Malloy24". I signed up for the Battlefield 2 Vetrans program for Battlefield 2142 (where you reserve your old Battlefield 2 character name for you to be able to use in Battlefield 2142). I have installed the BF2142 Demo, but I can't use my EA account name to create a character since my EA account name contains a space and the BF2142 Demo does not allow spaces to be used when inputting your EA account name. How do I log in to the Battlefield 2142 Demo using my EA account name "Daniel Malloy24"? If I will not be able to log in to Battlefield 2142 (the Demo or the official game when it comes out), then how can I re-claim my Battlefield 2 character name I reserved using my EA account name "Daniel Malloy24" under another EA account name that does not contain a space in it?"
EDIT: Ohh, just so you know, I copied the EA response directly from the EA support page. The spelling and everything is exactly how I recieved it.
