what error should I get if I do not have the 9.0c update installed? my demo wont even start up, of course, and the first thing I get to see is a missing .exe file error?
Mine doesn't work even though I instaled that like 12 times. Whenever I get to ~85% complete when installing it says "Install Wizard has failed to install BattleField2142 demo. Please resart from the begining." What should I do?

My version worked after i installed the latest direct X, but i havent played more than 3 minutes without it buggering up. Fired some sweet ass laser/ground defense cannon though ^^
My Computer> C:> Program Files> Electronic Arts> EA Downloader> Cache> [your username]> then the file is something like 'eagames2142onlinecontent' etc. It takes a while for the EA Downloader to update after you delete it.doctastrangelove1964 wrote:

Ok now i got the game working but when i click join game it immediatly CTD's i should be called "make CTD" instead of "join game" here at my comp, does anyone know what to do?
