WW2 redone. Include USA, UK, Germany, Italy, Russia, and Japan at least. Maybe Australia, China, and France. Convert Titan mode from 2142 into a 'sink the battleship/carrier' mode, and include objective game mode. If EA takes the time to make a better engine and the game releases in 2-3 years, I think technology will be advanced enough to do this. WW2 would be the best setting because nearly everything is manually controled (no automated crap) and they could make use of all the BF2/142 advances. My question is, where will they go if not back to WW2? I don't think anyone will want another future game set it 2242.....the only possible place I see that they could go would be Cold War time and make up a fictional war between the U.S. and U.S.S.R.
They could always do the Korean War. It never gets recognized.

mm... i would love an expanded 1942. that game was my introduction to online FPS's, and it will always have a place in my heart, even if i always sucked at it.

they could make it like empire earth and have a timeline setup. ww1, ww2, vietnam, modern.
I'd say Korea, or expand off of what they have for Forgotten Hope.
Re-done Vietnam would kick ass. and the US vs USSR would also be awesome - especially if they offer a branch out, say a Cuban theatre....

Yeah 1942 or bf2 redone would be great with all the improvements in place.
Perhaps hire/borrow some of the designers from successful mod teams to help (see: Take Over) DICE to make a game that rivals all others.TrollmeaT wrote:

That would be cool but the whole WWII thing is getting a little old. Theres just too many
WWI would be quite good or maybe they could make a small game which is something like American Independence. Be on the BF2 engine and be more like a expansion pack. It would be interesting to shoot then spend you 3 minutes reloading then stabbing with a bernet, riding on horses and carridges. Never going to happen but it would be a fun game to play.

I'd like to see a "What if the allies lost?" type WW2 game...operation sealion, Australia/New Zealand invaded...South Africa also, that sort of stuff.
