Slow load after a while?

Yesterday my bf2 went into uber slow load. Usually i can load into the game in 8 seconds but yesterday it decided to totally fck itself up. And proceeded to load into the ingame menu in about 1 minute then selecting the bfhq tab took another 50 second to load.
I tried restarting the comp as this usually helps but no help there. After a reinstall everything is back to normal.
Has anyone else had this happen to them?

nope. why don't you...defrag and all those other good things for the HDD. disk clean up..and..crap like that.

Did all that and nothing helped, only reinstalling it helped, such a weird thing to happen.

Yeah that happened to me on Friday, sometimes its just a bitslow. WOuldnt worry unless it happens constantly.

EAs auth servers were playing up the night before last, accorfing to posts on ea.com some were saying it was taking 10 minutes waiting just to log into the game - altho it only took me and a bud 5 minutes to auth, we got big lags doing normal things like you describe, just disconnecting from one server took me 2 minutes waiting.

make sure to delete the servers in your favorites

that really, really helps

How do half of the servers get there in the first place? I mean i didnt add any yet they are there and the ones i add arent there? the f*ck?

What ever server you play on go in Fav's, but the green ones are the ones you put there.
