There are only 3 kill messenges in bf2142, i really dont like that. In bf2 there where 5, thats better.

guns so weak in 2142 you only need 3 as no one can kill anyone that quick =P

Ninja, be serious, its annoying!! It says: Silo 5 under attack! We have captured this and that! And i dont see with what kind of weapon my squad members are killed, so i cannot expect what is coming after me. I need to be prepared.
Ok, thats better, maybe your localization files were corrupted in some way
Go ingame, take a screenshot during a 64 man server, and post it here, we'll see from there
Or try re-installing if you have the time
If you dont wanna reinstall - Did anything go wrong during the setup? Have you edited the game files in anyway?
