I'll stick with both...I like futuristic battles, but BF2 is too good to give up.

I'm not against BF2142, if it was good i would buy it, but the gameplay is a big step backward compared to BF2. It's got nothing to do with noobs or pro's.

I think 2142 is OK gameplay. Nothing stunning that's worth $50. But my main gripe is with what EA and DICE did to BF2. What they did to the community. The "it's a corporation" argument doesn't work, as many other game makers like Valve follow a different model that's obviously proven successful.
BF2 in my house. I refuse to get into the "Hype" of the 2142, and like the current present day weapons.
not a futuristic fan, although i loved the original "unreal", probably because it was the first online game i ever played. but i'm sure sooner or later i'll try 2142, maybe after my upgrade, but for now and later i'm still going to give bf2 my all.

Bf2 will never die (atleast for a long while) Sure theres alot of players moving to 2142, but theres alot more who are sticking with Bf2 including myself. Im not getting into that futuristic crap, not even the demo. Bf2 is just too good imo.

i have pre ordered 2142 and will be downloading it tommorow night, but after playing the demo i think i will play bf2 more than 2142.

There seems to be absolutely no interest from any clans - including myself, to be honest - in competetive 2142 play.
The current BF2 proscene is dead compared to what it was. And I never even got to play Code7 instead of a match a night with PCW's whenever we could, it's just the occasional game for fun now.

It really boils down to which group you want to be apart of. I believe that from what I read on the forums, alot of people want something new, but are reluctant because of some of the bad publicity 2142 has been recieving from the Beta and Demo, so are faced with a choice. Some will stay, some will go, the 2142 community will be fresh and new and usher in a whole new group of players, while the bf2 group will be regulars who probably dont want to give up bf2 just yet, or dislike the theme (group 3) and might be waiting out till bf3.
