could someone please tell me how to get basic knife on wake. (i mostly play there) i am a gunnery sergent so im not bad, i just suck with knife. HELP!!!!!!

You won't get it on Wake. City Maps are one of the best places for knifing. Just knife/pistol your way to glory.

Yes, one guy got it on Wake. Everyone else got it on city maps. You can waste hours on Wake looking for snipers, or you can go on Karkand or Sharqui and get it.blitzerlover wrote:

I got a Kill streak of 7 with knifes/paddles before i got killed.
One round i got 35+ knife kills.. (on a 32 man server) just ask the people i play with.

I got mine on Karkand not Wakr but principle is the same - just followed some of the tips in the forums.blitzerlover wrote:

Main things that helped:
1. Map your knife to middle mouse wheel click - that way you can whip it out in an instant.
2. Play a kit with stamina so you can run long distances (Medic, Sniper).
3. Play as you normally would, don't just run around with your knife out. But spot knife opportunities and take them.
4. Go for groups of enemies that are together, not individuals. I found that attacking a squad of 3 enemies resulted in 2 of them dying to my knife, the survivor would shoot me. The reason is if you rush into a group of enemies and start stabbing, they can't shoot at you in case they TK a friendly, and also they panic as soon as someone draws a knife on them. Once it's down to 1 on 1 they can start shooting.
5. When you attack, dive at their feet and stab like a madman. After a few stabs stand up and stab some more.
6. Flank around the enemy bases and run up behind them - do not try a running knife attack on someone that can see you.
7. Practice against bots in single player to get the hang of knife range / technique.
8. Just go for it, it's easier than you think it is. I got my knife badge within 20 stabs, and didn't have to use KP server.

Lt.Victim, I agree with you, it is so amazingly easy to get knife kills on wake. Almost every time I use knifes only on a wake server I will get in the top 5 (but it is rare that I do it.)
