Having just obtained one of these (hopefully help my gaming a bit!) I've read so much on these pages about various settings etc, I was hoping someone could give suggestions about settings for various classes. e.g. would a sniper have similar setup to support?
Any thoughts.

I don't think it makes that much different if the mouse is optical or laser. I'm not that good to se any difference anyway. The best and the most important thing is the ability to quickly change speed on the mouse while in game. Superb function! You have a very good mouse there Weasel!!

Sorry disagree i got the G5 and its rubbish hence why i moved back to the mx518 even the mx510 pwns the g5

call me retarded/challenged/whatever, but i leave mine on 1600 and change the settings in-game to what i need...works perfecto' for me!
