GIF images wont play

Ah, this happened to me.
Do you have the Zone Alarm Anti Virus?
If so, you have to go into settings of the internet, and click ALLOW GIFs, or ALLOW ANIMATION, something along those lines.
Once that is done, you will be able to see animation again.

Go to IE->Tools->Internet Options->Advanced tab

Scroll down until you get to the multimedia section. Make sure the relevant ones are checked.

He uses Mozilla FireFox mate, Animation is always on.

yup i have the zone alarm pro trial...but i dont see any "settings of the internet" stuff....mind guiding me step by step? thanks.

Go into your private panel, with the settings of everything in ZoneAlarm.
Then find ADBLOCKING feature, turn that off.
It should work from there on, if not, try and find a setting that is connected to images on the internet.

It was so long ago I cannot remember. Search it on Google, I am 100% sure you will come up with a solution.

ok its working now...but will it make my computer for vulnerable to attacks?

It shouldnt, it was only blocking it as a precaution. Dont worry about it.
Myabe turn it on if you keep your computer on over night. They are very vulnerable to attacks at night.
Actually, if you do keep it on, your computer will most likely get attacked more than 30 times in the night.
