i just wante to know:

when you join a clan you have to use the clantag of the clan

can you change your name or do you have to start a new profile ?

clan tag is added before you join .. not part of perm nam, so you can change it whenever (in case u get booted )

Using the prefix option, this is what my nick looks like in game: WOokie BigmacK419

You can keep your account, just use the "prefix" option above your name before you log in.
