Don't know about the rest of ya'll, but aside from all the odd things the patch introduced (note, I personally consider them odd or different - not necessarily bad) -
I have noticed that I have FAR FEWER memory leak problems. For quite a while now, I couldn't go a full night playing BF2 without a full restart of my system (2.2 X2 dual core, 2GB RAM, 256MB Video, etc etc).
Perhaps they've done some fundamental patch work on the core to address some of these problems...
I must admit that the first time I dropped onto a SF Server - it had the 'Red Tag' bug the likes of which I had never seen before - I dropped in with three buddies running Teamspeak so I know it wasn't just a bunch of preschoolers TK'ing for effect.
