Just wanted to see how wide-spread these problems are.
To clarify, the third option should have said getting DC'd AND kicked.

a lot of probs here! i even got BANNED from a server i never joined. WTF??? not to mention the bugs in the demo, but hey it's a demo.... and oh, yes ea, right i forgot!  .....i wonder when the first patch comes out, any bets?

Yea, I've been kicked from the master server 1 or 2 times, which is a lot considering I just got the Demo a day ago.

yep, i've gotten disconnected from the master server or what ever at least 4 mabey 5 times in the passed two days.  And i also got banned from a server that i never even joined like SineNomine said .  Then starting today i've been getting the "there is a problem with your connection" message, but it only actually resulted in my getting dissconnected once (the other times it went away and i went back to playing after a few seconds).  But i think that might have just been the server.

After about 2 hours of play i get disconnected from the server then if i try to rejoin it kicks me within a minute and keeps on doing it untill i restart my pc, then i can play for another 2 hours

Yep, had the master server message a lot depending on when I try to log in. I guess it's just a server traffic issue, EA not expecting as mcuh interest in their new demo.

I've been having the problems with staying connected to the master server as well.  I'm guessing EA needs to beef up the system significantly.

In the Beta I was banned form the first server I tried to join. XD Wtf man Pretty fun thou. :3 I was to good to enter the server my sheer l33tness would owned those others there.

Now I'm not banned from any servers nor does PB block me so I'm fine with it. Though I have only been banned once in one game, CSS, owned the admins a little bit to much. Like headshots all the time and contructive ones to. XD

Hey what i did was disconnect my router and had my cable company reset my modem from their end.. no more disconnects!! I am not using my router now.

I would guess they weren't prepared to handle the influx. That is why we had some ppl downloading 2142 at 30k.

EA/Dice have gone and updated their official site letting us know they are working to resolve the disconnect issues found in the demo.

We are aware that some players are experiencing disconnects while playing the Demo. Please know we are running checks and making enhancements to our support systems so that these disconnects can be solved as quickly as possible.

**Update: According to DICE the issue was with the way the account server checked your account and the increased stress on the EA.com servers due to the high amount of players. They have now stated the issue should be resolved by a set of server upgrades they have done on the EA.com account verification end.

The issue was related to the account activity checks that the master servers send to players while they are logged in. These checks exist so the server can know when your account has lost connection so that it may de-activate the account so you can log in again. The thought is that a player will not send responses to a query if their connection goes out so we need to close the account so you can log back in.

Anyways because so many people jumped into the demo the EA.com account servers were not able to cope with the stress. Now that the EA techs have added more servers and made a account server patch upgrade the issues should be eliminated. Please let us know if you continue to experience any additional problems.

My comments:
Apparently they fixed it, I haven't had any server disconnects at all since after the announcement.
