BF2S Forums North Korea Nukes

I wish I had info about how many times(if any) the us tried to work with both the un and north korea on a compromise. I know they at least had a few meetings early on, but I don't know the extent of it and I don't have time to research all this. I at least know that in the beginning the us took more of a active role in dealing with the situaiton.

erm, north korea has tested a neuclear weapon, clearly, but have you seen the stats of thr weapon? it's basically as powerful as the one dropped on hiroshima. and could only be dropped by plane. so i doubt the US will be in any daner anytime soon. particuatrly as you can just shoot down the carrying plane. anyway, n korea have gone one step too far. it has angered china. now, north korea has onyl survived this long because in the korean war it had help from china. now, if china was to open another front rather than coming in on North Korea's side, North Korea is dead.

They should have nuclear energy, not nuclear arms.

Prediction: Nobody does jackshit except vent substanceless rhetoric. Story becomes obsolete and everyone forgets about it. Media gets back on Iran's case because Iran is more important to them than North Korea.

Your belief is small consolation to South Korea.  A dictator like Kim Jon Il having nukes only further destabilizes the region and the world since North Korea could sell nukes to our enemies quite easily.  Also, China will not like a fiesty little neighbor having nukes.  Thus, acquiring nukes would make an attack more likely, not less.
