Hey everyone, I need some advice before I actually go and bid on this.

OK the situation is this......Im at Uni and have my rig with me here, its too big to cart home every other weekend  so I need something to play BF2 on at home. Ive searched and cant find anyother posts like this, but what I want to know is will BF2 run on a MacBook Pro with BootCamp running? Check the specs herebut Im sure its got enough juice to play it. Is it actually possible and does anyone else have any suggestions to what I should do?

ps Ive got my student loan through (Im rollin in the benjamins) so Ive got the moola to spend, and the reason i chose a Mac was because they look pretty sweet!

I personally hate macs, but that looks like a nice deal. Looks like it should be able to run bf2.

Cheers mate, i dont really want to go down the road of a XPS or Alienware, because they arent particuarly good at resale time, everyone knows about Apple so I think its pretty good for the future too.

i have the same setup, except i went and bought 2gb of ram later on and it plays both bf2 and 2142 just fine, mostly on medium but you load pretty fast everything works. i love my macbook pro. i just order another one for my fiance.

What type of RAM does it take? Is it only Apple type ones that it can handle?
+1 to everyone by the way for the advice
